This is really a very good time to be cleaning up at home and the office. Nothing puts folk off visiting a client’s office than a badly maintained kitchen or washroom facility. To get things into better shape, gather together a cleaning kit – two buckets with sturday handles. In one put good quality rubber gloves; spray cleaner; small scrubbing brush; 1 x good quality dish cloth; 1 x micro cloth for drying surfaces; dust pan & brush if you don’t have an office one. Start by emptying all bins, desk rubbish collections, loose dust and dirt. Brush round all surfaces before vacuuing thoroughly. Then gloves on, hot water in 2nd bucket and get down to spraying cleaner over counter tops, a couple of metres at a time, rinsing and wringing the cloth out as you go. Dry off with the e-cloth. Ensure all cups and dinner implements are really well washed and put away in cupboards. It’s worth filling dirty cups with bleachy water for a couple of hours – together with the teaspoons. Sfter the kitchen, start on the washrooms. It’s horrible work but someone has to do it. Once done. Get yourself a decent cleaning agency onboard – it is so worth their fee!
